This past week has witnessed a dramatic earthquake swarm in the Yellowstone National Park which is the inside of a giant volcano that is still active and capable of erupting in a manner that could wipe out much or all of the USA in one hour. In fact, it alone is capable of matching the Babylon-Judgments of Revelation 18 which describes a fire judgment that the destroys Babylon in one hour of one day.

The quake swarms started on Sunday, January 17 and had produced 644 tremors by mid-day Wednesday. The magnitude for most of the quakes has been in the 2.5 Richter scale or less, although there were a series of tremors on Tuesday that exceeded 3.0 in magnitude.

Detailed mapping shows the "hot spot" that fuels Yellowstone National Park's geothermal features is more than 400 miles deep, and might have been responsible for volcanic activity in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho 17 million years ago.

The mapping contradicts previous theories that Yellowstone's geothermal features were powered by a relatively shallow -- perhaps 250 miles deep -- hot spot.

Additionally, University of Utah researchers say the "banana-shaped magma chamber" they mapped runs at an upward angle from below the park's northwestern corner and is 20 percent larger than previously thought. As a result, they say, "a future cataclysmic eruption could be even larger than thought."  More details - LINK HERE.

Osama bin Laden's word choice in the latest audio message attributed to him is seen as a "possible indicator" of an upcoming attack by his Al-Qaeda network, a US monitoring group warned Sunday.

IntelCenter, a US group that monitors Islamist websites, also said that manner of the release and the content of the message showed it was "credible" that it was a new release from the Saudi extremist.

"The Osama bin Laden audio message released to Al-Jazeera on 24 January 2010 contains specific language used by bin Laden in his statements in advance of attacks," IntelCenter said in a statement.

The group said it considered the language "a possible indicator of an upcoming attack" in the next 12 months. Read the full story, LINK HERE.

Fresh corn, green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, melons and squash were among the hardest hit crops during the severe cold freeze that hit Florida in the first half of January. Wholesale prices on many items have quadrupled.

Florida supplies three-quarters of America's fruit and vegetables during the winter months and the skyrocketing prices for fresh foods will have a severe impact not only at the grocery stores but also with fine restaurants.

Oddly enough, citrus crops sustained less damage than the vegetable crops, perhaps because citrus growers took greater measures to protect their crops with portable heat.

The Council of Europe’s Health Committee Chairman Wolfgang Wodarg has charged WHO with manipulating the definition of a pandemic in the interests of increasing the demand for the swine flu vaccine. The widespread request for the injections generated vast amounts of revenue. Wodarg suggests that many politicians were quickly strong-armed into supporting the purchase of large amounts of the vaccine, lest they deal with an even more panicked public.
