Israeli Diplomats Attacked in India & Georgia

Israel Blames Iran

 

There were two separate attacks on Israeli diplomats on Monday (2/13/12) in two different nations. In New Delhi, India, the wife of an Israeli diplomat and her driver were injured when the car they were traveling in was bombed. There are reports the bomb was magnetically attached to the car by a passing motorcyclist, in much the same manner as what happened to an Iranian nuclear scientist last year.

In a separate incident, a second bomb was discovered and defused outside the Israeli Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia at nearly the same time as the New Delhi attack. Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu wasted no time in responding. He blamed Iran for the attacks, which has vowed to exact revenge for several Iranian nuclear scientists killed.

Last week, Israel had issued a high alert to all of its foreign embassies in expectation of terror attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets worldwide. Israel's Foreign Minister announced that Israel knew who was responsible for the attack and vowed Israel would respond. For more on this story, LINK HERE.

A former Syrian Army captain, Abd al Salam Ahmed Abdul Razek, has confided to Al Arabiya News that the Syrian military has used nerve gas (banned by international law) as part of the effort to subdue opposition in the city of Homs, Syria. The captain claims that the nerve gas was used with and under the supervision of Russian and Iranian WMD experts who told his unit when and how to use such weapons.

The captain says that the Army's 4th Division and the Republican Guard can be expected to use chemical weapons elsewhere in the nation. For more details on this story, LINK HERE.
